A little background on Samarpan meditation
Shivkrupanand Swamiji was born into a middle-class brahman family. Since childhood, he was inclined to study God’s divine existence and consciousness.
Journey to Nepal
Baba Swami’s spiritual journey began unexpectedly during his job days when he decided to visit Nepal’s Lord Pashupatinath Temple. During his visit to this sacred site, Baba Swami met the shiv baba, the same ascetic who appeared in his meditative visions.
Baba Swami was enlightened by Shiv Baba, who transferred all of his spiritual knowledge to him, and this was the start of Baba Swami’s spiritual progress. Baba Swami continued his work after returning from Nepal, married, and had a son.
Journey to the Himalayas

How to do Samarpan meditation?
Samarpan Meditation is easy to do and consists of chanting and focusing on a sacred utterance (syllable, word, or verse) for a set amount of time that is thought to have mystical or spiritual power.
Follow these steps to get started:
- Start with sitting down on the floor, close your eyes and put your palms facing the sky on your knees.
- Start chanting this mantra “OM SHRI SHIVKRUPANAND SWAMI NAMO NAMAH “.
- When you start this mantra for the first time, pronounce “OM” longer and the rest of the mantra in the usual way.
- Then pronounce “SHRI” longer and the rest of the mantra in the usual way.
- Now pronounces both “OM” and “SHRI” longer and the rest of the mantra in the usual way.
- Follow this procedure in 3 sets as explained above, so you have to chant it three times, so in total, it will be nine times.
- After completing the chanting, pray to god, ” O god, peace be upon the entire world, I pray to you from the depths of my heart. May, the souls of the entire world progress spiritually and in every way”.
